Web site. Our current web site sees little activity. The members were asked if there was adequate reason to maintain the site, considering the cost (approximately $80 annually) and time/effort required. There was some support for maintaining the web site. The board will review the question of member feedback.

Vice President Fedenia and Treasurer Sandstrom-McGrath offered their positions to anyone willing to assume those roles. Gil Gerdman was nominated from the floor for Vice President; Roland Daneau was nominated from the floor for Treasurer. The slate of officers was approved by vote of the Membership. The current officers for the next year are:
President: Greg McAallister Vice President: Gil Gerdman Treasurer: Roland Daneau Secretary: Mitch Leavitt
Discussion about the Stranded Tugboat Donny S. President McAllister described in detail the efforts by himself and other members to engage local and State of Wisconsin authorities to address the boat and potential environmental damage that it could cause. A working group including local Baileys Harbor officials and State of Wisconsin representatives met inthe fall and winter of 2025-26.In May, the DNR ended its involvement in the group although participants expect to resume meetings in the fall. All parties involved recognize that removing the vessel will be costly.
The working group achieved the following outcomes:
◦ Mike Kahr, local expert, identified hazards onboard and recommended options for removing the boat.
◦ Donny S entered in a federal database of abandoned and derelict vessels.
◦ Obtained title for Donny S. Title shows different owner than the person fined by DNR.
◦ Town of Baileys Harbor & Door County issued resolutions calling on DNR to remove the tug.
Report on Harbor Lane traffic study. Maureen Sandstrom-McGrath reported on a study of the traffic volume and speed on Harbor Lane that was conducted in response to resident concerns about excessive speed. The data showed that most vehicles were traveling between 20 and 30 miles per hour, and that only a few exceeded 35 miles per hour.
